SAVE the DATES
Our wedding was set for the summer, but our save the dates were mailed during the holidays. We decided to incorporate the best parts of the holiday season into our save the date with a fun, accordion style card that featured our engagement photos and told a sweet little story to our guests.
Working with our favorite photographer, Dan Kelleghan, we conceptualized a little story of us stumbling upon a magical gift. Dan shot a series of photos to illustrate and, literally, unfold the story.
As our guests unfolded our save the date, our story was revealed and guests found that the magical gift was…to save the date for our wedding! Various embellishments and ornaments were featured throughout the piece to complement the holiday theme.
We wanted something completely unique, whimsical and fun for our save the dates, and the final result was exactly what we imagined. We still receive compliments from guests on our save the dates, and we have to say, we’re a little fond of them ourselves!
